Japanese Tonkatsu Recipe

Japanese tonkatsu「とんかつ(トンカツ)」 is a popular Japanese dish made with breaded and deep-fried pork cutlet.

Tonkatsu is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and is commonly served with shredded cabbage.

Ingredients

  • Pork loin
  • Salt and pepper
  • Flour
  • Egg
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Season the pork with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat with flour, egg, and panko.
